News 080416 - BEYOND THE BRIGHTNESS April 4th is the release date of the new album "Beyond the Brightness" by The Grand Opening. The basic tracks for the album were recorded at the movie theatre in Ånge during the summer and then additional recordings at my home, the Möregatan Studio and Fryshuset. Jens Pettersson played the drums, Bo Anders Ljung played Wurlitzer, Johanna Ojala sang some backing vocals and I did the rest. Linus Larsson mixed the album in his new house at Hogrän, Gotland. Henrik Jonsson at Masters of Audio mastered. Beyond the Brightness is released by our label TAPETE RECORDS and distributed by DOTSHOP in Scandinavia and INDIGO in Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
